With over 20 years of experience as a certified language teacher and trainer, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Explore the programs below and find the one that suits you best. 8-Week Intro to Spanish

In this class students will be introduced to the Spanish language and conversation. The sessions will help students feel more confident with the basics/fundamentals and give them the tools to start communicating in Spanish right away!

We will focus on the following (can be customized to individual student interest and needs):

-alphabet and pronunciation

-common greetings and questions when you meet someone

-numbers

-days of the week, months, the date, seasons, and weather

-colors, adjectives, and noun adjective agreement

-present tense verb conjugations and pronouns

-some irregular common verbs

Conversational Spanish Classes

In this class, we will focus on feeling more confident greeting people, using different common phrases, and having conversations about a variety of topics, including every day activities, interests, hobbies, foods, friends, and family. Grammar and vocabulary will be woven into the lessons, but we will focus on using the language in context in order to become more confident using Spanish in every day conversation.

Teacher made materials based on goals of student. Book can be added. Practice materials given to work on outside of class.

One-on-One Tutoring

I work with students one-on-one or in small groups or individually to support personal goals to learn Spanish, or to help support other classroom learning.

Classes are customized based on the needs of each student.

Reading Program

Reading stories can be an engaging, fun, and effective way to learn vocabulary, grammar, and improve fluency and pronunciation in Spanish. In this class, we will read different short stories of high engagement and interest and study Spanish through language and culture.

All in the context of interesting stories!

Interactive work with be designed to accompany stories and reach a deeper understanding of the text. Stories will be chosen based on the student's level, age, and interest. Group sessions are encouraged for this work. In person or online.
